We’ve been thinking a lot about the people who make life feel full lately, and it feels only right that we start this letter with a gentle reminder: Mother’s Day is just around the corner. Less than a month away, in fact! On May 10th, we’re putting together a special brunch at Gusto, made with all the love and gratitude we can muster! Alongside your meal, we’ll be bringing out cake, fresh fruit, and yogurt, plus a steady stream of small plates to share and enjoy together! And for those who feel like celebrating a little extra, we’ll have bottomless mimosas waiting for you!

If you haven’t stopped in recently, there’s something new we'd love for you to see! Our upstairs space has been completely reimagined! Fresh, warm, and unmistakably Gusto. It finally feels like the space we always dreamed it could be, and it’s now open and ready to welcome you in. Come linger a little longer with us up there!

As we start dreaming up our summer, we’re working on a new line of Gusto merch, and it just doesn’t feel complete without your voice. We’re searching for a new summer tagline, something that captures what Gusto means to you. If inspiration strikes, click here to submit your ideas or comment on our corresponding social media posts. We’ll be rewarding some of our favorite ideas with a Gusto gift card as a small thank you!

We're hard at work getting Gusto and the Market ready for the craziness of the summer and want to give you a reminder to take your time and enjoy the Spring and not rush into Summer, so here's a poem to help you all get into the spring mood!

In Center Harbor, the buds pop out like they’ve got a plan,

While Winnipesaukee stretches and sparkles best it can.

The water warms up (well…give it a minute),

Brave souls test toes—then nope right out of it.

The trees dress in green like they’re late to a show,

And sunsets start putting on more of a glow.

At Gusto Italian Cafe, we’re stretching, awake and alive,

Prepping for summer—and pasta in overdrive.

To everyone who signed up for our very first cooking class - wow!! We are so grateful and counting down the days until we get to cook alongside you on the 29th! If you missed this one, don’t worry, we’re already planning another cooking class for mid-May! Keep an eye on our newsletters and social channels for the next chance to join us.

May is shaping up to be something special. We’ll begin with a celebration of the people we love most, and we’ll close the month under something a little magical—a Blue Moon. With two full moons gracing May, we couldn’t let the moment pass us by! We’re dreaming up a celebration for May 30th that feels worthy of it all, and we’ll share more soon!
