We hope this note finds you happy, healthy, and enjoying these beautiful summer days! We’ve got some exciting news and updates to share, and we can’t wait to see you soon.

First up, this coming Monday, July 28th, from 4–7pm, we’re heading to Betsy’s Park on White Oak Pond in Holderness! Elena, Nick, and Lorenzo will be there with the Gusto Pizza Truck, cooking up your favorites to raise money for the Betsy’s Park Foundation. This is a cash-only event, and every dollar will go directly to the foundation to support their incredible work. Come by, grab a slice, and help us make a difference together!

If you haven’t been to Betsy’s Park, you’re in for a treat! It’s a beautiful eight-acre green space where members of the Squam watershed community can gather to play, reflect, and connect with nature. Previously a 1940s-era motel, it was lovingly transformed by Betsy’s family, friends, and generous donors to honor her passion for an active and balanced lifestyle. The park features a playground, a beachside meditation area, natural rock reflection spots with a flowing water feature, walking trails, two pickleball courts, a platform/paddle tennis court, and even a pavilion with picnic and grilling areas. In winter, you’ll find ice skating, cross-country skiing, and cozy gatherings in the heated community room. It truly is a place for all seasons and all ages - a perfect tribute to Betsy’s vision!

In other Gusto news, did you know you can rent our space for your own private event? Whether you’re planning an intimate dinner, a celebration, or something in between, we’ve got you covered. You can reserve either the upstairs or downstairs of the café—or both!—and we’ll handle the food with delicious options from our catering menu. You bring the people; we take care of everything else!

We’re also looking for a new member of our kitchen team! If you have a love for baking or pastries (or know someone who does), we’d love to hear from you! No experience? No problem! We’re happy to train you and share all of Gusto’s secrets!
